Tech-Savvy Girls
Project
In the spring of 2001, branch
members Elizabeth Vandenburg, Clare Klunk, and Laura Jones applied for and
received a Community Action Grant from the Educational Foundation to
create and distribute a short video to educate parents, guidance
counselors and technology teachers on the importance of encouraging girls
in technology. This project covered a two-year period and involved many
branch members.
