CHARLES "CHUCK" G. WARD, died in Bemus Point, NY on July 16, 2016. Chuck was born on Feb. 23, 1935 in Lake View, NY and was the son of the late Robert and Carolyn Spittler Ward; the grandson of the late George and Edith Metz Spittler of Lake View, NY and the late Charles and Amanda Lyon Ward of Booneville, NY.  He is survived by his wife Nancy, sisters L. Schucker and S. Merk; sons Barry and Jay of Akron, OH plus 4 grandchildren. Chuck attended Lake View School and Woodlawn HS, graduating from the latter in 1952. Chuck was an avid cook, deer hunter and gardener. His family gathered for a picnic in his honor in September 2016 on the shores of Chautauqua Lake, a place he loved so much.
