The death of Mrs. Mila M. Sackett, widow of the late James H. Sackett, occurred Tuesday evening at the home of William Hines in Pasadena.  Deceased was 65 years old and had been suffering from consumption for several years.  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Henry (Lulu) Hines, four sisters, Mrs. Linus (Abigail) Birdsey, Mrs. Heman (E. Jane) Ward and Mrs. E. G. (Esther) Palmer of Boonville and Mrs. Owen (Clarrisa) Heald of Rockland, MA; and two brothers, John Avery of Rockland, MA and G. S. Avery of Holyoke, MA.  The funeral will be held Friday at 1 o'clock at the home of her daughter.  Rev. A. W. Cady officiating.  Burial in Boonville Cemetery.

NOTE: Mila Avery was the 4th wife of James Sackett, his 2nd one being her sister Mary Avery who died in 1872.  
Mila married James Sackett in 1874.
